Chateau Hanare is a new Japanese concept from restaurateur Reika Alexander, owner of the En Japanese brasserie in Manhattan. It is part of the Chateau Marmont Hotel and Bungalow's compound, but has its own entrance.

The task was to transform a residential building into a high-end Japanese restaurant. The central idea of the design was to combine the dining areas and private dining into a series of indoor and outdoor rooms with the kitchen and bar at its center.
